ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Bids for the 2021 Paving Program will be received by Hopewell Township online via PennBID, until 10:00 AM local time on Monday, July 26, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and posted on PennBID’s website. The Project consists of roadway improvements throughout Hopewell Township. The base bid includes improvements to twelve (12) roads throughout the Township, with various improvements including a combination of milling and wearing course replacement, base repair, scratch coat, overlay, tar and chip, and fog seal. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost on PennBID – www.PennBID.procureware.com. Bids shall be accepted online through the PennBID Program. Additional bidding requirements are found in Section 00 21 13, “Instructions to Bidders”, of the Bidding Documents. All bidders must submit bid security of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
