ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Moon of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:00 AM prevailing time on March 29, 2021 for the following: CONTRACT NO. 21-R01 2021 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM The scope of work includes approximately 55,500 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder course, Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; traffic control; bituminous wedge curb; structure adjustments; ADA ramps; linestriping; add alternates for additional square yards of resurfacing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various roadways in Moon Township, Collier Township, Crescent Township and North Fayette Township. CONTRACT NO. 21-R02 2021 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (LIQUID FUELS) The scope of work includes approximately 6,950 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder course, Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; traffic control; ADA ramps; linestriping; add alternates for additional square yards of resurfacing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various roadways in the Township of Moon. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each Contract from QuestCDN at www.questcdn.com using the following project numbers: 7609155 for Contract No. 21-R01 and 7637562 for Contract No. 21-R02. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Moon. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
