ADVERTISEMENT The Salem Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, through a City of Salem CDGB grant invites sealed bids for Elderly Housing 667-5, 6676, and 667-7B Developments for from Contractors in accordance with the documents prepared by the Salem Housing Authority. The Project consists of: [installation of a wi-fi network with connection to the internet to allow the Salem Housing Authority to provide free internet services to three low-income elderly residential buildings. The work is estimated to cost $71,704.26 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. General Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2023 and publicly opened, forthwith. All Bids should be delivered to: Salem Housing Authority 27 Charter Street, Salem, MA 01970 and received no later than the date & time specified above. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Salem Housing Authority. Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available at www.salemha org/bid-opportunities/ or by emailing dtucker@salemha.org. There is no plan deposit for 1 set of bid documents. Additional sets may be purchased for $10.00 each payable to the Awarding Authority. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $15.00 per set, payable to the Salem Housing Authority, to cover mail handling costs.
