BEVERLY HOUSING AUTHORITY IFB ANNUAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES February 8, 2023 The Beverly Housing Authority invites written responses from contractors for the supply of services as described in the specifications for ANNUAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES. It is the intent of the Authority to award this contract for the period of April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024. The Beverly Housing Authority has the option to renew for up to two additional years, contingent upon satisfactory operations and the availability of funds required to perform Grounds Maintenance. Renewal is at the sole discretion of the Beverly Housing Authority. Work is estimated to cost $70,000.00. Each bidder is encouraged to attend a walk-through of the facilities on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the BHA Maintenance Office, 17 Courtney Drive, Beverly, MA 01915. Specifications and Bid Forms must be submitted on or before Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. to the Beverly Housing Authority, 137 Rear Bridge Street, Beverly MA 01915 in a sealed envelope endorsed with the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked with the applicable contract name. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest price. A responsible bidder has the capability, reliability and integrity to perform the contract, per M.G.L. Chapter 30B § 2. The Beverly Housing Authority Board of Commissioners reserves the right to award and/or reject any and all bids or proposals for any reason determined to be in the Authority’s best interest.
