ADVERTISEMENT AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors will accept sealed proposals until 9:30 A.M. prevailing time Tuesday, May 4, 2021 for Public Works Project #21-01 consisting of approximately 15,500 sq. yds. (+/-) Cold in place recycled base course and 34,163 sq. yds. (+/-) of mill/sweep and tack, 4,875 (+/-) tons of 9.5mm wearing course. All work shall be in accordance with PennDOT 408 Specifications and Limerick Township General Provisions and Technical Specifications. All proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Limerick Township Administration Bldg., 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA. All proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Township. Proposal forms, Specifications and contract documents may be obtained at the Limerick Township Administration Bldg. Mon. thru Fri., between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., by download at www.LimerickPA.org or by email request to MMancini@LimerickPA.org. The PA minimum prevailing wage rates, as determined by the PA Department of Labor & Industry, shall apply to this contract. All sealed proposals shall be submitted with a ten percent (10%) bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. It is the intent to award this project as a single contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. All Cold in place milling shall be complete in place not later than September 10, 2021. All hot bituminous wearing courses shall be complete in place not later than September 24, 2021. The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof as they may deem necessary and in the best interest of Limerick Township.
