INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that Borough of Trappe will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until 4 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 for the Borough Hall ADA Ramp project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools and oversight necessary for the removal of the existing ADA ramp and construction of a new ADA compliant ramp alongside Borough building per the Isett design drawings and all other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. All bidding documents will be available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net beginning at 12:00 p.m. on June 7, 2021. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. PA Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the Borough of Trappe for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday June 14, 2021 at Borough Hall, located at 525 West Main Street Trappe, PA 19426. All bidders are encouraged to attend. Attendees will be required to adhere to the current COVID-19 CDC guidelines. Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Clarifications (From Vendors)â€? tab on or before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties. The Borough of Trappe reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
