TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened by Tredyffrin Township at 1100 DuPortail Road, Berwyn, PA 19312 on December 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM for A New 3,750 Square Foot Masonry Public Works Garage A Mandatory Pre-Bid site visit is scheduled for November 9, 2021, at 10AM at the existing Public Works Garage Building. The project will be awarded under four (4) Separate Prime Contracts (General Construction/Site, Plumbing, Mechanical/HVAC, and Electrical). Plans, specifications, information for bidders and forms for proposals may be examined without cost, a flash drive of all bid documents in PDF format may be obtained for the non-refundable fee of $50.00, made payable to Linn Architects, at 1140 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063 starting at 9:00 am Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Any bidder who wishes to receive full size plans and specs they will be available by advance request for the nonrefundable fee of $200.00, contact William Manners 610-566-7044 or wmanners@rlinn.com Bids must be made on the form furnished by the Owner and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid made payable to the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner The Bidder’s attention is called to the fact that this project is governed by the Pennsylvania Township Code and that various State labor and administrative requirements apply, as noted in the Bid Documents, including the requirement that all wages paid are consistent with the Pennsylvania prevailing wage structure. It is the intention of the Township to Award the Contract no later than January of 2022, but a Notice to Proceed will be issued for March 1, 2022. All bids submitted must therefore remain valid for a project start date of March 1, 2022. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but Tredyffrin Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. MLTS Oct 31 a-1
