BILLERICA MA-FINISHED WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT LEGAL NOTICE Town of Billerica, MA (Owner) will receive sealed Bids for Finished Water Pump Replacement, until 10:00 a.m. local time on February 16, 2022 at 365 Boston Road, Room G-08, Billerica, MA, 01821. Bids received will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid. This Project includes furnish and install 1 vertical turbine pump and 2 spare vertical turbine pumps, furnish and install 1 new magnetic flow meter and 1 spare magnetic flow meter, minor piping modifications; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment within 195 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time. The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M and prevailing wage rates as issued by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, as amended, apply to this Project. A pre-Bid conference will not be held. Bidding Documents may be examined only by obtaining electronic copies due to restrictions as a result of COVID-19. Bidding Documents may be obtained on or after January 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. electronically at no cost by registering via email with the Engineer’s representative at dandrews@woodardcurran.com with the subject line ‘Billerica MA-Finished Water Pump Replacement’ to be included on the Bidder’s list.
