DeSantis Appoints 7 To Florida’s Construction Industry Licensing Board

Tallahassee, Florida – Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has appointed seven individuals to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Ted Feaster, Brian Wilson, Frank Cawthon, Ashley Ross, Donald Cesarone, Rachelle Wood, and Edward McCullers were all chosen to the board.

Ted Feaster from Ocala, Florida, is a general contractor and owner of Feasterco Construction which he established in 1986. Feaster is an acclaimed member of the Ocala Chamber of Commerce in addition to the Marion County Economic Partnership. His bachelor’s degree in building construction was obtained from the University of Florida.

President of Wilson & Company Inc., Brian Wilson of Cedar Key, Florida, is a general contractor and member of the National Association of State Contractors Licensed Agencies. Wilson formerly served as President of Oviedo’s Rotary Club. His bachelor’s degree in business administration and building construction was received from the University of Florida.

Frank Cawthon, president and owner of Florida Home Construction of Central Florida and FHC Development, is a licensed general and residential contractor. A bachelor’s degree was earned from Clemson University and a master of business administration was acquired from Stetson University.

Ashley Ross from Tallahassee, Florida, is the proud owner of Ross Consulting. Previously serving as a Senior Advisor with Rubin, Turnbull and Associates along with Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate President Joe Negron and Finance Director for the Florida Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, Ross is now a member of the Junior League of Tallahassee. Her bachelor’s in business and masters of business administration is from Florida State University.

Commercial pool contractor, Donald Cesarone, is Vice President of the Commercial Division at Van Kirk and Sons, Inc. Cesarone stands as a member of the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals Swimming Pool Committee, the American National Standards Institute, and Associated Contractors and Builders.

Rachelle Wood from Jupiter Florida, is a sheet metal contractor for Dolphin Sheet Metal, Inc. Serving as a member of the National Association of Women in Construction Palm Beach Chapter, Wood is also Chair of the Florida Homeowners Construction Recovery Fund. Her bachelor’s degree was earned from the University of Florida.

Owner of McCullers Construction Services, Edward McCullers is a member of the Florida Groundwater Association and the American Groundwater Trust. McCullers is a general and mechanical contractor, a plumbing contractor, and an underground utility and excavation contractor.

These appointments are now subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate
