LEGAL NOTICE Massachusetts Development Finance Agency Devens Household Hazardous Waste Awning Construction Devens, MA Project No. 21-005 Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (“MassDevelopment”) is seeking qualified bidders for the Devens Household Hazardous Waste Awning Construction. Work includes: installation of footings, framework and electrical system to accommodate two (2) motorized retractable awnings, footings for an entrance booth (constructed by others), and relocation of related fence sections. Electronic copies of the bid documents will be available via email on 11/3/2021 at 12pm. Requests may be sent to: Christine Brown, cbrown@massdevelopment.com. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visits to our office at 33 Andrews Parkway to pick up the IFB documents will not be available. A link to the bid package will be sent out. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Wed., 11/10/21 at Devens DPW: 99 Buena Vista Street, Devens, MA 01434. A tour of the project site will be offered following the pre-bid conference. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Each bidder shall be responsible for their own health and safety and responsible for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, hard hats, safety boots, and safety glasses, and bringing flashlights to tour the site. MassDevelopment may provide additional guidance with respect to the pre-bid conference closer to the date of the conference. Bids are due on 12/1/2021 by 2PM (Note: Due to COVID19 restrictions, the bids will not be publicly opened as the office is closed to visitors. MassDevelopment will advise the bidders of the bidding results, subject to verification of responsiveness (compliance with bid documents/specifications)). Award of a contract for the work contemplated by the IFB may be subject to the approval of MassDevelopment’s Board of Directors. Addenda may be issued, as MassDevelopment considers necessary, in response to issues raised at the pre-bid conferences and tours, or otherwise. Prevailing wage laws apply to this contract.
