EAST LYME PUBLIC SCHOOLS INVITATION TO BID PROJECT – VARSITY BASEBALL OUTFIELD RECONSTRUCTION Project Location: East Lyme High School, 30 Chesterfield Rd. East Lyme, CT 06333 1.The East Lyme Public Schools (ELPS) is requesting bids from contractors to reconstruct the varsity baseball outfield, including but not limited to removing existing vegetation; removing, amending, and reinstalling soils; adding soils; installing irrigation and seeding with grass. Project also includes an add alternate to possibly install sod in lieu of seed. 2.The bids are due by 2pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. 3.A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the baseball field at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Contractors interested in bidding, must attend the pre-bid meeting. 4.The bid forms shall be mailed to ELPS Central Office, 165 Boston Post Rd., East Lyme, CT 06333 Attn: Facilities Director (provided the bids are received in the office by the bid time), express mailed/overnighted or dropped off at the Facilities Department office at the address above. Mark mailing envelope to read: BASEBALL FIELD BID. 5.Any bids submitted/received after the due date & time will not be considered. 6.The bids need to be signed and submitted on the bid form included within Appendix D of the Technical Specifications. Appendix D contains requirements and a checklist for additional items required for submission with the bid form. Missing submittal documents may result in disqualification of bids. 7.Any questions should be e-mailed to the ELPS Facilities Director at Christian.lund@elpsk12.org. Bidder questions should be received no later than 4pm Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
