INVITATION FOR BIDS The Borough of Industry, PA, is requesting proposals for PAVING 2021. The base bid includes the paving of two (2) streets in the Borough of Industry. There will be one (1) optional bid. This work will be performed under one (1) general contract. All responsible parties regularly engaged in the business of this nature, interested in making sale to the Borough of the above, may obtain a copy of the specifications for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 at the office of R.A.R. engineering group, inc., 1135 Butler Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101-4262, Telephone: (724) 652-1004. Separate sealed proposals shall be addressed to Donna Mills, Borough Secretary, Borough Building, 1620 Midland Beaver Rd, Industry, PA 15052, marked on the outside as follows: BOROUGH OF INDUSTRY PAVING 2021 Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Borough until: 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 and be read during the Borough Council Meeting the same day at 6:30 PM at the Borough Building. The Borough of Industry reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the Borough. Bids may be held by the Borough of Industry for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids.
