TOWN OF BERLIN, CONNECTICUTRequest for Qualifications:Berlin Plan of Conservation and Development and Affordable Housing PlanBID NUMBER: 2021-18RFP OPENING DATE: April 15, 2021RFP OPENING TIME: 4:00 P.M.RFP OPENING PLACE: Berlin Town Hall, Town Manager’s Office The Town of Berlin, CT (“Town”) is accepting statements of qualifications (Statement) for the services of a qualified individual or consulting firm (“Consultant”) to aid in preparing the Town’s 2023 Plan of Conservation and Development (“Planâ€?), to prepare Berlin’s Affordable Housing Plan for submission prior to July 24, 2022. Interested Consultants having the qualifications and expertise to carry out the project in accordance with statutory and local requirements as defined herein must respond to this request on or before the submission due date listed below. To be considered responsive the Consultant’s Statement must be submitted to Maureen Giusti, AICP, Acting Town Planner, Town of Berlin, 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, CT 06037 as follows: Five (5) copies of the Statement and an electronic copy via flash drive must be received no later 4:00 p.m. on April 15, 2021, to be eligible for consideration. Each Statement must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box that is clearly marked, “Berlin Plan of Conservation and Development – 2023.”The Town reserves the right to amend or terminate this INVITATION TO BID, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town’s judgment, is the lowest responsible and qualified bid.The Town of Berlin is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
