INVITATION TO BID TOWN OF LUDLOW DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Sealed proposals for the TOWER ROAD, MOTYKA STREET, & GRIMARD STREET SANITARY SEWER EXPANSION PROJECT will be received by the Ludlow Department of Public Works, 198 Sportsmen’s Road, Ludlow, Massachusetts, 01056, until 11:00 AM, May 13, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the CONFERENCE ROOM, DPW (Department of Public Works). Late postmarks will not be accepted. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the Bid title, Date and Time of bid opening, and the Bidders name and address. A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 10:30 AM at the D.P.W., 198 Sportsmen’s Road, Ludlow, Massachusetts, 01056. This project will include the construction of approximately 2,400 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer, sanitary manholes, and other related appurtenant work. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bidding Documents may be secured electronically by e-mailing Billy Krukowski (Billy.Krukowski@mottmac.com) and Tanmay Bhatt (Tanmay.Bhatt@mottmac.com). The proposal guaranty for general bids shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Checks and bid bonds shall be made payable to the Town of Ludlow, Massachusetts. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. The conditions of Employment and minimum Wage Rates as set forth by the Director of Massachusetts Department of Labor and Work Force Development.
