ADVERTISEMENT CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for: Public Works Engineering Services; Indian Orchard Water Study Per City RFQ No.: 21-173 RFP Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM EST: June 23, 2021 by: The Office of Procurement Theo G. RFP documents and specifications will be available beginning on June 4, 2021 through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com, during normal business hours. The general scope of services shall include assessing water bodies in Indian Orchard for their recreational purpose for the City of Springfield. This solicitation is for Horizontal (Public Works) Construction, and is not subject to M.G.L. Ch. 7C§§44-57, but will rather follow a MGL Ch. 30B RFP model procurement to an extent as determined by the City. Proposers must submit written questions no later than June 16, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com.). There will be NO scheduled site visit, but proposers are encouraged to see the sites in question (all open to public access). The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief/Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
