Request for ProposalsEcological Restoration Audubon Connecticut seeks proposals from qualified contractors to complete a 39-acre saltmarsh restoration at the McKinney National Wildlife Refuge in Stratford, CT. This public-private partnership ecological restoration will include removal and off-site disposal of invasive plants and soils, earthwork excavation and on-site placement of soils, container plant delivery and installation, erosion control installation and maintenance, in-water work and water management, and other practices at this tidal wetland site. Construction is scheduled to begin October 2021 and be substantially completed by March 31, 2022. A mandatory pre-bid on-site meeting is scheduled for June 25, 9am.
