The State University of New York at Stony Brook will receive sealed bids for project number 22440 (IFB: 2122-042) titled Power Plant Relocation of Connected Generator Load until 2:45 p.m. local time on April 20, 2022 at Stony Brook University Hospital Purchasing 2000Ocean Ave. Suite 1 Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 p.m. All work on this Contract is for 12 months, starting ten (10)calendar days after the contract approval date. Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations.

Mandatory Bidders Conference is scheduled for Thursday March 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM @ Stony Brook University Hospital East Power Plant, Construction Trailer, 101 Nicolls Rd. Stony Brook NY 11794 (See Attached Map)
Bids must be submitted in Triplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
MBE – Minority Business Enterprise Goals: 26%
WBE – Women Owned Business Enterprise Goals: 4%
SDVOB – Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Goals: 6%
