LEGAL NOTICE

To be published in the Odessa American on Friday, July 16 and Friday, July 23, 2021.
Ector County will accept sealed bids for the following: Paving & Drainage
Improvements for 67th Street.
Bids will be awarded on the basis of lowest bid to the most responsible
bidder meeting County’s requirements.
The bonds required for this bid shall be the following: 1.) Bid Bond of 5%
of the total bid price in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or a
surety bond; and 2.) Performance and Payment Bonds which shall cover
100% of the total sum from a Surety company, authorized to do business
in the State of Texas.
Payment will be made in accordance with Chapter 2251, Texas Government
Code.
Additional bid sheets and specifications may be obtained at the Ector
County Purchasing Department, 1010 E. 8th Street, Room 110, Odessa, TX
79761; on the Ector County website, http://www.co.ector.tx.us/page/ector/

and drawings may be obtained from LCA, 521 N. Texas Ave. Odessa, TX
79761, (432) 332-5058. Drawing are $100, non-refundable.
The Ector County Commissioners’ Court reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
Sealed bids must be sent to the attention of the Ector County Purchasing
Agent, Lucy Soto, 1010 E. 8th Street, Room 110, Odessa, Texas 79761, on
or before 2:00 P.M. (CST), Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
The bids will be opened on the same date at 2:00 P.M. in the Commissioner’s
Courtroom, Ector County Courthouse Annex Building, 1010 E. 8th Street,
Odessa, Texas 79761.
