LEGAL NOTICE
Proposals for the design and installation of new Public Safety Microwave and new Simulcast Land Mobile Radio Systems for the Yates County Public Safety Communications Project Phase 2, 3, and 4 located in Yates County, New York, (with optional Seneca County NY site) will be received until 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Public Safety Building, 227 Main Street, Penn Yan, New York 14527, telephone (315) 536-5172. There will be no public opening.
The project includes the design, procurement, and installation of a new countywide microwave system; temporary relocation of some legacy radio equipment; and new countywide conventional VHF and UHF simulcast land mobile radio systems. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2021 for interested proposers. Pre-registration is required. Proposers may provide a proposal for the microwave system, for the land mobile radio system, or for both.
Copies of the Request for Proposals, Specifications, Proposal Forms and submittal requirements may be reviewed, or are available at the Syracuse office of C&S Engineers, Inc. 499 Col. Eileen Collins Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13212 by contacting Rita Fendick at (315) 455-2000, rfendick@cscos.com. All prospective proposers are requested to register with Rita Fendick at C&S Engineers, Inc. to ensure receipt of any addenda. It is the proposer’s sole responsibility to ensure receipt of all addenda.
Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the words “Yates County Public Safety Communications System Proposalâ€? and the Proposer’s name and address plainly written on the outside. Each proposal must be in a separate envelope.
The Yates County Public Safety Committee and/or the Yates County Legislature reserve the right to reject any and all proposals.
