LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by: Washington Township of Schuylkill County, 225 Frantz Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963 until 7:00PM on March 15, 2021, for the following: Options Item Number Quantity Unit Description 1 1 3,749 SY Construct a Double Bituminous Seal Coat as per Pub 408 Section 470. Copies of the specifications and bid forms will be available at no cost on PennBid beginning February 18, 2021. Bids will be publicly announced at the Washington Township regular meeting of March 15, 2021 at approximately 7:00pm. Bids will be posted online on Penn Bid following review at this meeting. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified per PennDOT Pub. 408 Section 102. This is not a prevailing wage contract. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Bids for this contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.
