LEGAL NOTICE THE GREATER BRIDGEPORT AREA (BRIDGEPORT, EASTON, FAIRFIELD, MONROE, STRATFORD, TRUMBULL,SHELTON) HAS BEEN AWARDED $200,580 IN FEDERAL FUNDS for Phases 40 under the The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) National Board through the Department of Homeland Security to Supplement Emergency Food and Shelter Programs in the area. On or about 03/9/2023, a Local Board will determine how the funds are to be distributed among programs in the area. Organizations chosen to receive funds must be non-profit, have an accounting system and conduct an annual audit, practice nondiscrimination, have demonstrated the ability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs and if a private voluntary organization, must have a voluntary board.
