LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Ulster No. 5 Fire District, 830 Ulster Avenue, Kingston, New York, until 7:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, for the following services for the Ulster No. 5 Fire District: SNOW PLOWING AND REMOVAL OPERATIONS AT FIRE DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS FOR A TERM OF THREE (3) YEARS STARTING 11/1/2021 THROUGH 10/31/2024 The bids will be opened and publicly read at this time and place. Award of the contract will be made within the following thirty (30) days. Each proposal shall cover all labor and materials required in accordance with the snow plowing and removal operations which may be obtained by contacting Fire Commissioner William Smith at 845-399-3911. Bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Snow Plowing and Removal Operationsâ€? and shall be in the hands of the Secretary of the Fire District, Kelly Smith, 830 Ulster Avenue, Kingston, New York 12401, no later than 7:00 p.m. on the 16 th day of June, 2021, or hand delivered to her prior to 7:00 p.m. at the office of the Fire District, 830 Ulster Avenue, Kingston, New York 12401. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept any proposal or proposals as submitted as modified which, in the opinion of the Board, will be in the best interests of the District. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the specifications will be awarded the bid. The proposals of each bidder shall contain the certification as to non-collusive bidding as set forth in Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and conform to the provisions of the General Municipal Law and all other applicable statutes.
