LEGAL NOTICE Town of Sterling Highway Garage Invitation to Bid September 20, 2021 The Town of Sterling is seeking proposals for the installation of a security camera and light system at the Sterling Highway Garage, located at 215 Main Street, Sterling, CT. l To install wiring for a camera system, including one (1) twenty-seven (27) inch monitor, eight (8) camera DVR hard drive, six (6) 2.8 mm bullet cameras, one (1) 2.7 mm – 13.5 mm motorized camera and power outlet for DVR. l To install two (2) new LED floods on forty (40) foot pole. Remove and replace four (4) new LED wall packs on exterior of building. Remove and replace interior lighting with ten (10) 145-watt LED high bay lights (wiring one to be used as a night light for cameras), remove and replace three (3) LED strip lights on balcony and over office. All measurements are the responsibility of the bidder and the proposed bid shall include any lighting incentive/rebates. The selected bidder will be responsible for the purchase and installation including all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the security camera system and lighting system. The selected bidder must supply the Town of Sterling a Certificate of Insurance for Workers Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance. The selected bidder shall indemnify and save harmless the Town of Sterling and the State of Connecticut under these policies, which shall list the Town of Sterling and their agents as additional insured. Sealed bid, clearly marked “Bid – Highway Garage – Security Camera and Light System” shall be accepted until 12:00 noon on, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Sterling Town Hall, Office of the Selectman, PO Box 157, 1183 Plainfield Pike, Oneco, CT 06373. A mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Sterling Highway Garage, 215 Main Street. The Town of Sterling reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Questions can be referred to David Shippee, Selectman at (860) 774-5688.
