Public Notice Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBidTM by Marple Township with Prime Contracts for General, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing until 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 23rd day of February 2023 at which time they will be publicly read at the Marple Township Building, 227 S. Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008, for: MARPLE TOWNSHIP PAXON HOLLOW COUNTRY CLUB IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT No. 2023-02-G CONTRACT No. 2023-02-E CONTRACT No. 2023-02-M CONTRACT No. 2023-02-P All documents and solicitation details are available and open to public inspection anytime at PennBidTM (https://pennbid.procureware.com). Click on the “Solicitationsâ€? and “Viewâ€? tabs. The bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay a fee to PennBidTM. The names of those who have secured plans/specifications may be obtained at PennBidTM. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves site preparation for and construction of a Golf Pro Shop and golf cart storage bay, expanded parking, re-configured cart paths, retaining wall, and all appurtenant general, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10 AM at the Marple Township Building, 227 S. Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008. This project subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Marple Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of Marple Township.
