WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed bids will be received through PennBid™ by Westtown Township for Oakbourne Park Improvements until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 28th day of February, 2023. All documents and solicitations details are available online anytime at no cost at PennBid™ (www.ebidexchange.comPennBID.net). Note, PennBIDTM assesses a fee to the bidder who is issued the award. Click on the “Solicitationsâ€? and “Viewâ€? tabs. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The project involves the construction of improvements to Oakbourne Park located at 1014 South Concord Road in Westtown Township. Work will include demolition and removal of existing courts and other features, site preparation, earthwork, utility services, retaining walls, asphalt and concrete paving, chain link fencing, stormwater management, athletic courts, landscaping, and appurtenant work. There will be an on-site Pre-Bid Conference February 14, 2023 at 10:00am at Oakbourne Park. This conference is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Questions may be asked through the PennBID system. The final date to submit questions is 5:00pm February 21, 2023. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
