ADVERTISEMENT TOWNSHIP OF HAVERFORD 1014 Darby Road Havertown, PA 19083 Sealed bids will be received by Haverford Township, via the PennBID Program (www.pennbid.procureware.com) until 9:00 o’clock AM, prevailing time, on the 2nd day of July 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly read for: LLANERCH PARK – ADA PEDESTRIAN ACCESS CONTRACT No. R-33 All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBID (www.pennbid.procureware.com). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The project involves the installation of a handicap accessible pedestrian access to Llanerch Park from Moewyn Road. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Bidder’s attention is called to the fact that a portion of this project is receiving funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and as such, the Davis-Bacon Act applies to this contract and that the successful bidder shall pay no less than the Federal Wage Rates determined for the project area as set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
