YEADON BOROUGH BOROUGH HALL ACCESS DOOR AND STAIRWAY INSTALLATION SEALED BIDS will be received by Yeadon Borough at the Yeadon Borough Office, 600 Church Lane, Yeadon, PA 19050 until Wednesday, July 12, 2021 at 9:30AM (prevailing time), and will be publicly opened and read at that time for the following project: Installation of Access Door and Stairs for Yeadon Municipal Building Rear Flat Roof. Scope of work includes: removal of existing wall portion, installation of a new door, door frame, stairs, handrails and two stairway platforms per architectural specifications. The successful contractor is responsible for disposal of items. Proposal forms and specifications are available for purchase at the Yeadon Borough office, weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. A non-refundable charge of $60.00 made payable to “Yeadon Boroughâ€? is required for a bid packet. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to various insurance requirements, and various equal opportunity provisions. A Certified Check or Bid Bond for the amount of ten percent (10%) of total bid price shall be required with bid submission. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required by the successful bidder in the amount of 100% of the contract price and shall be required at the time of contract execution. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Yeadon Borough Council reserves the right to reject any bid and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose services are judged to best meet the interest of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities during the evaluation of the bids. Payment of prevailing wages and submittal of certified payrolls are a requirement of this procurement. The determination and a copy of the certified payroll form are included in this Bid. The successful Contractor shall respond within ten (10) days of the contract award. The performance period shall be sixty (60) days following the award of a contract.
