NOTICE – -ROAD MATERIALS – -Sealed bids will be received by the South Middleton Township Board of – -Supervisors, 520 Park Drive, Boiling Springs, PA 17007 until 1:00 p.m., July 15, 2021 for Road Materials. Said bids will be opened and read at 1:00 p.m., July 15, 2021 and contracts will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors regular meeting on July 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time. A complete bid package may be obtained at the Township Office from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday, by phone at (717) 258-5324 or on the Township website at www.smiddleton.com. – -Each bid submission must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in – -the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount payable to South Middleton Township. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded bid amount shall be submitted by the awardee after execution of the contract, as well as a Worker”s Compensation Certificate. The deposits of bidders, other than the one to whom the contract is awarded will be returned after execution of the contract. – -South Middleton Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to – -readvertise and accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of South Middleton Township.
