PUBLIC NOTICE Invitation to Bid Former Somersville Mill Facility Somers, Connecticut Sealed bids will be accepted to perform repairs to the existing bulkheads at the former Somersville Mill Facility. This will be a public bid that will open on April 28, 2021 and close at 3:30 PM Eastern Time on May 27, 2021. The project will consist of the removal of plant growth from the existing structure, repairing partially collapsed sections, and filling and grouting voids in and above the wall. Post-repair, any remaining debris stemming from the partial collapse and general degradation of the bulkhead is to be collected and lawfully disposed of at an off-site facility. Proposals are due by close of Town business (3:30 PM Eastern Time) on May 27, 2021. All proposals shall be prepared and signed by an authorized representative of your firm. All proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 90 days from the bid due date. Electronic copies are acceptable at the deadline with hard copies to be in hand no more than two working days after deadline.
