Public Notice of East Chicago Sanitary District – 2023 Biosolids (Sludge) Hauling and Disposal Services

The Notice is hereby given that the East Chicago Sanitary District (ECSD) will receive sealed bids for providing transportation and disposal of its biosolids from its Waste Water Treatment Plant and Pretreatment Program in 2020. Bids will be received by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28. The received bids will be read aloud by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners at 4:30 p.m. local time on the March 2, 2023 at the East Chicago City Hall Council Chambers located at 4527 Indianapolis Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana. Any bids received after the designated time/date will be returned unopened.

Copies of the Request for Bids (RFB) for the 2023 Biosolids (Sludge) Hauling and Disposal Services are available for review at the East Chicago Sanitary District office at 5201 Indianapolis Boulevard, starting February 8, 2023.
