PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by Luzerne Borough, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, for the following work to be performed: 2023 LSA/DCED GRANT POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING ADDITION Bid documents for the project can be obtained via email from the Architect, Richard Malcolm, AIA, CAM Architects, at rmalcolm@camarchus.com. All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked, “POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING ADDITION”, to the Luzerne Borough Municipal Office, 144 Academy Street, Luzerne, Pa. before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The bids will be publicly opened at that time. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination Decision, and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts. The successful Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required to execute a Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause (Exhibit A) as part of the Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor. Luzerne Borough reserves the right to accept, reject, modify or delete any or all items of work, as they deem necessary to award a Contract within budget limitations. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period of not to exceed ninety (90) days after the date of the Bid Opening.
