REQUEST FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Moon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:00 AM prevailing time on June 28, 2021 for: CONTRACT NO. 21-PK1 MOONCREST COMMUNITY CENTER DEMOLITION The scope of work consists of select demolition including asbestos abatement, removal of existing HVAC, electrical and plumbing system and all necessary appurtenances for said construction. A General Bidders Meeting will be held at the Municipal Building on June 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 from QuestCDN using project number 7882156. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township to guarantee the bidder’s entrance into the contract if given the award. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
