The Town of Westford, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from HVAC Contractors for the Mechanical Systems Renovation at the Cameron Senior Center. The Project consists of Mechanical Systems Renovations for the existing 21,000 SF facility, consisting of three levels including a basement. Work includes, but is not limited to the removal of portions of the existing HVAC systems, installation of new upgraded HVAC systems within the existing building, removal and replacement of new suspended acoustical tile ceiling grid systems, painting, electrical, fire protection modifications, and miscellaneous appurtenances. The Work, including all alternates for the project, is estimated to cost $ 2,880,000. General / Prime bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) in the category of HVAC. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAM certified for these trades: Roofing, Acoustical Tile Ceilings, Plumbing, Electrical. General Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023 and publicly opened on-line, forthwith. Filed sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 and opened on-line, forthwith. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant Street, Westford, MA 01886.
