TOWN OF BARNSTABLE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 2021 FANWORT CONTROL IN BEARSE POND The Chief Procurement Officer for the Town of Barnstable on behalf of the Conservation Division is soliciting responses for the seven month period beginning July 1, 2021 for Fanwort (Cabomba caroliniana) control in Bearse Pond. The anticipated method of control is diver-assisted suction harvesting. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B. RFP documents are available on the Town of Barnstable website, Bid & RFP System at www.townofbarnstable.us. Responses are due on June 9, 2021 by 2:00 p.m. in the Procurement Lockbox, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. Contract will be awarded in 30 days. Responses will be opened and read in the Purchasing office at 2:00 p.m. The opening of the responses is not public. All responses must be received in a sealed envelopes properly marked prior to the deadline. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town. May 23, 2021
