Town of Barnstable Request for Qualifications On Call Architectural/Engineering Design Services The Procurement Office of the Town of Barnstable on behalf of the Department of Public Works is soliciting responses from qualified Architectural/Engineering firms licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for professional services for various architectural and engineering construction projects including but not limited to roof, façade, HVAC, electrical, asbestos abatement, mechanical upgrades, window replacement and interior renovations projects as assigned by the Owner. The awarded firm will be responsible for all associated services required for the complete design, construction bid document specifications, and construction administration as assigned and authorized for projects. A three (3) year contract for these on-call services is being offered commencing approximately November 2021. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 7C, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of MGL Ch. 7C, Designer Selection Law. RFQ documents are available on the Town of Barnstable BID & RFP website: http://www.townofbarnstable.us. Responses are due on, November 17, 2021 no later than 2:00 p.m. in the Procurement Lock Box (located in front of the School Administration Building), Procurement Office, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. The opening of responses is not public. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town. October 31, 2021
