United States Case Shiller Home Price Index – October 26, 2021
Washington, D.C. – In August 2021, the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller 20-city home price index in the United States increased by 0.9 percent from a month earlier, the lowest reading since January and well below market expectations of 1.5 percent.
The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller 20-City Composite Home Price Index tracks changes in residential house prices in 20 metropolitan areas across the United States: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Tampa.
