892539 EAST LYME BOARD OF EDUCATION INVITATION TO BID REFINISH GYMNASIUM HARDWOOD FLOOR [”] LILLIE B. HAYNES ELEMENTARY 1. The East Lyme Board of Education (BOE) is requesting bids from contractors to refinish the main gymnasium hardwood floor at the Lillie B. Haynes Elementary School at 29 Society Road, East Lyme, CT. 2. The bids are due by 2pm on Friday, MAY 7, 2021. 3. The bid forms can be mailed to East Lyme Board of Education, PO Box 220, 165 Boston Post Rd., East Lyme, CT 06333 Attn: Facilities Director (provided the bids are received in the office by the bid time), dropped off at the Facilities Department office at the address above. 4. Any bids submitted/received after the due date & time will not be considered. 5. The bids need to be signed and submitted on the bid forms attached with this document. 6. This is a PREVAILING WAGES contract. This work is being performed under a broader school renovation project and subject to State of Connecticut labor and wage regulations. Contractor will be required to submit certified payrolls upon project completion. Use these rates when establishing your bid. Current prevailing wage rates are available on the DOL website link below: http://www.ctdol.state.ct.us/wgwkstnd/prevailwage.htm 7. The work needs to be conducted during a limited timeframe. Contractor may start work at 0700 AM on June 18, 2021 and work must be finished no later than 4pm July 3, 2021. No Sunday work will be allowed. 8.
