2021 SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
HARRISBURG CITY
The Work for this Project generally includes, but is not limited to, approximately 12,580 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of 8 thru 36-inch diameter sewer main; removal of 108 intruding laterals; CIPP lining lateral reinstatement of 444 sewer laterals; 69 linear feet of geopolymer lining of 36-inch diameter sewer main; installation of 3,400 linear feet of 8 through 48-inch diameter sewer main and associated appurtenances; replacement of 29 sewer manholes; installation of 21 sewer manholes; abandonment of eight (8) sewer manholes; rehabilitation of 34 sewer manholes; replacement of 100 storm sewer inlets; replacement of three (3) storm sewer inlet tops; repointing of three (3) existing brick storm sewer inlets; installation of three (3) ADA ramps; restoration; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work is geographically located at multiple sites within the City of Harrisburg. The Work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the Contract Documents.

CRW will establish minimum participation levels (MPLs) for the MBEs, WBEs and other DBEs on a project-by-project basis.
Notice is given that the project for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works. The Contract Documents specify Davis Bacon wage rate requirements for the Project and are attached to the Bidding Documents. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00AM. The pre-bid meeting will be conducted via audio-video conference. Representatives of Capital Region Water and their Engineer will participate in the meeting to discuss the Project.
