Crossing Pipe
Replacement Project
The Northumberland County Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area Authority (AOAA) is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform certain professional services work for the Zerbe Township for a Stream Crossing – Pipe Replacement Project.
The Northumberland County Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area Authority wishes to repair an existing culvert crossing along Carbon Run. There is an existing 36″ cast iron pipe that has been clocked/crushed causing the Carbon run to short cut and wash out the existing trail. The existing 36″ cast iron pipe will need removed and replace with 72″ Type II Aluminum 5″x1″ Corrugated Pipe.
This project is partially funded by a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation (Bureau). The Bureau has certain requirements and standards that must be met by the AOAA and its contracted consultant. This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been prepared in accordance with Bureau requirements and standards. The Bureau will monitor the project and certain documents will be subject to Bureau review and approval.
