ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by Zerbe Township of Northumberland County, PA at 800 Mahanoy Street, Trevorton, PA 17881 until 3 p.m. October 11, 2021 to be opened at 6 p.m. October 11 at the Zerbe Township Municipal Building for the following contract: Paving Contract Furnish and place 247 tons of Asphalt Wearing Course; 986 Tons Asphalt Binder Course; 150 Tons 2A Subbase; 5 Set Grade Adjustment of Existing Miscellaneous Structure and perform 4,107 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid on the project. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proff of worker’s compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.
