ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Board of Trustees of the Community College of Beaver County, Monaca, Pennsylvania will receive separate sealed proposals for HVAC UPGRADES and ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE DOME BUILDING at the COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF BEAVER COUNTY campus, Monaca, Pennsylvania, under multiple Prime Contracts. Bids will be accepted no later than 1:00 pm, local prevailing time, Monday, January 17, 2022, at the main entrance to the Dome Building on the Community College of Beaver County campus, 1 Campus Drive, Monaca, PA 15061, Attn. Mr. Glenn Natali, V-P of Finance, Operations, and Information Technology Bids will be opened and read aloud via a Zoom meeting shortly after deadline. Notification and directions for the Zoom meeting will be provided by addendum during bidding. Prime Bidders may obtain one set of Bidding Documents as follows: MAIL or present to Printscape Imaging and Graphics, 760 Vista Park Drive #7, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, a refundable deposit check in the amount of $100.00, payable to Community College of Beaver County. Write “21060 Deposit” in the Memo line, and include a request on company letterhead that includes your firm name, contact person’s name, email address, UPS shipping address (no PO Box numbers), phone and fax numbers. Additional sets, or partial sets, or electronic PDF files of Bidding Documents can be purchased directly from Printscape, 412-788-0640. Deposit will be returned provided Bidding Documents are returned to Printscape within ten calendar days of bidding date, in good usable condition, and a Bona Fide Bid is received by the School District; otherwise deposit will be forfeited. Shipping charges are not refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total of the Base Bid; and by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Qualification Questionnaire, and a Pennsylvania Certificate of Authority (if applicable). Project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented. Bidding Documents may be reviewed online at the Printscape Plan Room. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or parts thereof or items therein and to waive any informality in the bidding. Prime Bidders will be required to REGISTER to receive notification of Addenda and project information updates, and to obtain access privileges to the DFS Project Website. There will be a Pre-Bid WALK-THROUGH held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 @ 10:00 am. Bidding documents will not be available at the meeting. All attendees should report to campus. Please note that due to the Covid-19 restrictions all participants must wear face covering.
