ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Wayne Township Municipal Authority is requesting proposals for all labor, material & equipment required for the repair / replacement of one (1) sanitary sewer pump station on Lundy’s Lane in Wayne Township. The work will be performed under one (1) general contract. All responsible parties regularly engaged in the business of this nature, interested in submitting a bid to the Wayne Township Municipal Authority, may obtain a copy of the specifications and instructions to bidders for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 at the office of RAR engineering group, inc., 1135 Butler Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101, Telephone: (724) 652-1004. Separate sealed proposals will be received until 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, and shall be addressed to the Wayne Township Municipal Authority, 1418 Wampum Rd, Ellwood City, PA 16117 and marked on the outside as follows: Wayne Township Municipal Authority 2021 Lundy’s Lane Pump Station Repair & Replacement Bids will be opened at a meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wayne Township Municipal Authority Office, 1418 Wampum Rd, Ellwood City, PA 16117. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder surety bond in the amount of 10% of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. A Performance Bond, Labor & Materialman’s Bond & Maintenance Bond will be required for this project as dictated in the specifications. The Wayne Township Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the Authority.
