BIDS/FY 22 CRACKSEALING, WINTER SAND

TOWN OF PRINCETON INVITATION TO BID The Town of Princeton is accepting bids for the following: Public works: FY 22 materials and services for crack sealing, winter sand and line painting. Bids shall be sealed in envelopes clearly marked on the outside. Specifications, general instructions, and bid forms may be obtained at the Selectmen’s Office, Bagg Hall, 6 Town Hall Drive, Princeton, Massachusetts, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday. Bids will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on August 19, 2021, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. All state and federal regulations must be complied with. The Town may award one or more portions of the contract to one bidder and/or more portions to another bidder if it is in the Town’s best interest to do so. The price proposed by the bidder for each portion shall remain the same. The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids and reject any and all bids and to make awards in a manner deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Princeton reserves the right to extend the low bidder’s contract for up to two (2) additional years based on mutual agreement between the Board of Selectmen and the low bidder. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to crack sealing and line painting. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid Opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract.
