NOTICE TO BIDDERS LOWER POTTSGROVE TOWNSHIP MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lower Pottsgrove Township will receive sealed Bids for the 2022-2023 Equipment Rental and Labor Agreement until 1:45 p.m. on February 18, 2022, at the Lower Pottsgrove Township Municipal Building, 2199 Buchert Road, Pottstown, PA 19464. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on February 18, 2022, at the Municipal Building. Description of Equipment and Labor: 1) Motorized Bituminous Paver w/Operator and Screed Operator—Barber Greene 225B or equivalent ± 40 hrs; 2) 10-Ton Vibratory Roller w/Operator Min. 66â€? Width Drum ± 40 hrs; 3) 5-Ton Vibratory Roller w/Operator Case 252 or equivalent ±40 hrs; 4) Laborers (as needed) for Paving Work ± 136 hrs; 5)Milling Machine w/ Operator ±16 hrs; 6)Tack Coat Truck w/Operator + 32 hrs; 7) Water Truck w/Operator ± 65 hrs; 8) Backhoe w/Operator + 8 hrs.; 9) Dump Trucks w/Operators ± 250 hrs; 10) Sweeper w/Operator ± 32 hrs; 11) Track Operated 7’ Milling Machine ± 32 hrs; 12) Skid Loader w/Operator w/Mill and Broom ± 24 hrs; 13) Midland SPD-8 Road Widener or equivalent ± 0 hrs; 14) Traffic Control Laborers (as needed) ± 80 hrs; Bids must be made on forms furnished by Lower Pottsgrove Township and must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to Lower Pottsgrove Township. Copies of the Contract Documents for this project may be obtained at the Lower Pottsgrove Township Municipal Building, 2199 Buchert Road, Pottstown, Pennsylvania, 19464 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning January 18, 2022. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, with a corporate surety approved by Lower Pottsgrove Township. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents in accordance with state prevailing wages must be paid on this project. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap.
