Construction Business Formations Up 1.3% From October

Washington, D.C. – Construction business formations ticked up 1.3% higher than October to a total of 40,396. It is a continued trend that is a record pace not seen before. Professional Services data which also has AEC related segments also saw a increase of 1.2% to 53,089.

Real Estate business applications ticked down -3.0%, Wholesale Supply Trade business application were down -1.8%, and Manufacturing was also down -.03%

New business formations for Utility and energy related companies saw the largest gain of 25.3% in October
