INVITATION FOR BIDS
NOTICED IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Deer Park will open sealed bid proposals and publicly read them aloud on or after 2:00 PM. on August 11, 2021, at City Hall in Deer Park for the Pedestrian Ramp Replacement Project, TIB Project No. C-E-894(001)-1.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of existing pedestrian curb ramps at multiple locations on D St in the City of Deer Park. Additional project elements include cement concrete traffic curb and gutter, asphalt paving repairs, concrete cross gutters, removal and replacement of existing painted cross walks, and landscape restoration. The project consists of a base bid and two bid alternates. Project award will based upon the based bid plus cumulative bid alternates up to the project budget amount. The project budget will be announced after 2:00 PM on the bid opening date and prior to opening of the sealed bids.

All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State.
Sealed bid proposals must be delivered to the City of Deer Park (City Hall, 316 E. Crawford., P.O. Box F Deer Park WA 99006) by 2:00 PM on the date specified for opening, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “””SEALED BID FOR CITY OF DEER PARK PEDESTRIAN RAMP REPLACEMENT”””. In person acceptance of delivered bids will be available during posted City Hall hours.
SEALED BID PROPOSALS MUST BE DELIVERED BEFORE 2:00 P.M.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier””‘s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Deer Park will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (10%) or more of the contract amount.
Rejection of Bids: The City of Deer Park shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. The City of Deer Park shall have the right to reject all bids and not award the Work to any bidder.

Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency.
