City of Pottsville DEMOLITION PROGRAM INVITATION FOR BIDS The City of Pottsville will receive sealed bids for the following Demolition projects: 1. 539 E. Norwegian Street 2. 823 N. Sixteenth Street 3. 571 S. Centre Street 4. 237 Wallace Street PLEASE NOTE: Bidders shall submit one (1) copy of the Bid Form in a sealed envelope clearly marked: BIDS FOR POTTSVILLE DEMOLITION PROGRAM Bidders may bid on one or more of the above addresses and a contract for each address will be awarded separately. Bids will be received up to and not later than 3:00 PM, October 29, 2021 at City Hall, Pottsville. The Tentative bid award date will be November 8, 2021. Contract documents, Bid Forms, and technical specifications for the Project are available in the City Administrators Office, Third Floor, City Hall. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained at this office via email by contacting the City Administrator at cityadministrator@ city.pottsville.pa.us. Please include in the email all necessary contact information (company name, address, contact person, email, and phone number). A fee of $10.00 for postage and handling will be charged to bidders wishing to receive documents by mail or $35.00 for FedEx delivery without a FedEx account. The contract documents contain requirements addressing nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, and related matters.
