CITY OF WEST HAVEN BID# 2023-01 FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH STEEPLE REPAIRS One Church Street West Haven, CT 06516 Sealed bids will be received at the Purchasing Department, West Haven City Hall, 355 Main St., 3rd Fl., West Haven, CT 06516 for the project, #2023-01 First Congregational Church Steeple Repairs, until 2:00pm local time on February 15, 2023, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and results will be publicly read aloud in the 3rd fl. conference room. Sealed bids should be submitted in duplicate and must have an outer envelope addressed to: Tammy O’Connell, Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Dept., City of West Haven, 355 Main St., 3rd Fl., West Haven, CT 06516 and must clearly be marked as, “BID# 2023-01 First Congregational Church Steeple Repairs.” The work at the First Congregational Church Steeple Repairs includes but is not limited to scraping, cleaning, patching, repairing and replacing damaged materials. A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for 1:00pm on February 8, 2023 at the First Congregational Church located at One Church Street in West Haven, CT 06516. Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically from Friar Architecture, Inc. at their website: https://friar.com (User Name: WHFCC Steeple) (Password: WHFCC). Bidders must log in to the website to download bidding documents for the project. Bidders will be added to the, “plan holders” or prospective bidders list, upon downloading the bidding documents. Drawings and specifications will be available beginning on February 1, 2023. Proposal Forms are included in the Project Manual. Bid Supplements, inclusive of any issued addenda, will be issued by the Architect, solely to plan holders. It is the bidders’ responsibility to verify all Supplements with the Owner/Architect, prior to bid submission. No bids will be received after the designated times. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and/or reject any unqualified bids. The Owner is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The Owner requires an affirmative action policy for all its contractors and vendors as a condition of doing business with the Owner as per Federal Executive Order 11246. All bidders are requested to note that the award of this contract is subject to the following conditions and contingencies: 1. The approval of such governmental agencies as may be required by law. 2.
