HATFIELD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA PINES INTERCEPTOR UPGRADE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS HATFIELD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY will receive sealed proposals online via PennBid for the PINES INTERCEPTOR UPGRADE Project, in accordance with the Contract Documents. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Bids will be opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Authority Office, 3200 Advance Lane, Colmar, PA 18915. The work includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary to furnish and install and/or replacement of approximately 1,400 of existing VCP sanitary sewer with new 12-inch PVC, service lateral, manholes; stream bank restoration; lawn and pavement restoration as shown on the drawings and as specified. The project is located in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: GHD, 1240 N. Mountain Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112, 717-541-0622. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents via PennBid and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents and solicitation details at no cost via PennBid as described below. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid. To access this solicitation, go to https://pennbid.procureware.com and click on “Bids” on the left-hand side of the website. Search the “number column” for “Hatfield Township Municipal Authority, Montgomery County”. The “title” of the project is “Pines Interceptor Upgrade”. Notice is given that the project for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L.987, as amended and supplemented. Appropriate prevailing minimum rates, as promulgated under provisions of said act, must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days of receiving a Notice of Award letter. Bidders can utilize the PennBid Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee 0.33% of the total work awarded, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project.
