ADVERTISEMENT CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT Request for Proposals (RFQ) for: Feasibility Study for Springfield Bike Park (CPA Funded) Per City RFP No.: 21-133 RFP Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM EST: March 30, 2021 by: The Office of Procurement Theo G. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on March 12, 2021 through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com, during normal business hours. The City of Springfield is seeking a consultant to perform a feasibility study for a potential Springfield Bike Park. The Bike Park (“PARK”) is to be located in the City of Springfield; the feasibility study will focus on identification of park location and design. The City may amend the feasibility contract to include from conceptual design into schematic design, probable cost analysis, and construction documents. Total cost of the study is estimated not to exceed 10% of the ECC, which is $65,000.00. Pricing and scope will be negotiated with the top ranked proposer. Projects is CPA funded. These solicitations are for Horizontal (Public Works) Construction, and is not subject to M.G.L. Ch. 7C§§44-57, but will rather follow a MGL Ch. 30B RFP model procurement to an extent as determined by the City. Proposers must submit written questions no later than March 23, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com.). There will be NO scheduled site visits. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief/Deputy Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
